How can you earn a free map?
On the bottom of every Map's Pan and Zoom page, you may have noticed a box which allows you to submit public comments.
When you submit comments to our website via this box, not only are you adding to the the collective knowledge about that particular map or geographic area, but you also have the opportunity to earn credits for your account.
Every approved comment will earn $0.10 in site credits. These credits can be used towards both printed orders or for access to our premium features such as save to disk, self-print, or address searching as shown in the costs chart below:

What type of comments will earn you credit?
Approved comments include:
- historical information about the map
- historical information about the geographic area
- historical information about the publisher, maker, or engraver of the map
- personal recollections about places on the map
- personal recollections about how an area has changed over time
- names and locations of landmarks on the map
- names and locations of famous people shown on the map
- why this map is special to you
- other interesting information about the map
- copyrighted information
- information which contradicts the sites Terms and Conditions
