Survey number HABS CT-267
Building/structure dates: 1790 initial construction
Significance: Built about 1796, when the Burbank-Hatheway place was owned by Oliver Phelps, who also had the north ell and part of the west ell added to the house. Asher Benjamin was the architect for the work done for Phelps, and presumably designed this building also.
